Holy Cross Young Adult Retreat - Register This Week

Open to all young adults in the parish, the community

The Young Adult Ministry has planned an amazing retreat for all young adults (those ages 21+) in the parish and the community.

But why a retreat? Because our daily lives tend to get hectic. Most of us are connected 24/7, working on getting good jobs, establishing careers, deciding about continuing our education, starting families ... there's a lot going on. A strong faith life and fellowship with others on the same spiritual (and secular) journey can be helpful.

If you read the lives of the saints - or remember the stories of saints, or Jesus' own 40 days in the desert - you know how important and strengthening it was for them to spend some time away.

These early weeks of the Easter Season are a great time to stop and get away for a while, for prayer, fellowship and reflection. Join others at Holy Cross for this one-day retreat to gain insight, a fresh focus, some fun and fellowship.

The retreat will be held at Holy Cross, in the Sanctuary and Multipurpose Room, from 10 AM - 5 PM on Saturday, April 30. Registration is requested by April 15. There is a $20 fee to cover the cost of the retreat and a donation of berry bushes being made to the Holy Cross Community Garden. The garden project fits in with the theme of the retreat.

Invite a friend or two from the community and register today
